We couldn't rate Parkgate Construction more highly. We completed our 7 bedroom house in February 2016. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and this can be totally attributed to Russell and his team.

From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, kept me informed, very pleasant to have around (we lived on site) but most of all, their workmanship was second to none.

It would be naive to think a build will run completely smoothly, but I was surprised by how smoothly ours did go. Any problems we did have, Russell sorted immediately with very little fuss. He was always at the end of the phone, always gave me options and always kept me fully in the loop on everything.

I had a fantastic working relationship with Ben (who ran the build onsite). I totally relied on his knowledge and guidance. As clients we were extremely particular and Ben and his team (Charlie in particular) rose to the challenge time and time again. Their patience, attention to detail and their desire to do every job perfectly ensured we ended up with a house that surpassed all our expectations.

At the end of the build, I was very sorry to see them go.

“Parkgate Construction has recently completed a new oak frame build for me in Surrey, having ‘inherited’ the job part way through after I was badly let down by a rogue builder beforehand. Suffice to say that the site was in a mess when they came on board and, despite the build being very technical, they not only ‘rescued’ it but the end result exceeds anything that I could have hoped for. Most importantly, they took all the stress out of the whole build for me and allowed me to enjoy the project.
Russell, Jordan and the team have done a truly fantastic job, including excellently managing the budget and schedule throughout. Throughout the project there was excellent communication by phone and e-mail, as well as regular site visits. The team were all very courteous and professional throughout the project, and worked continually through the horrible winter weather, never missing a day, to ensure we completed on time. They were always very approachable and easy to work with, and they really seem to listen to their customers to try to make your dreams come true. Anything that needed attention was dealt with quickly and with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
The quality of build, fit and finish is exemplary and the house stands as a testament to the high standards set by the company – their attention to detail is second to none.
